Mark D. Birnbaum, of counsel to Naidich Wurman LLP, received his juris doctorate from Hofstra School of Law School (J.D. 1977). His undergraduate degree is from State University of New York at Binghampton.

Mr. Birnbaum is admitted to practice in the States of New York and Florida, before the Federal Courts of New York State and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Birnbaum is a seasoned real estate practitioner handling all matters of real estate transactions, including contract preparation and litigation. He also serves as an advisor to his many real estate clients. Mr. Birnbaum also serves as counsel to various cooperative corporations in Nassau, Queens and Manhattan County. He has conducted hundreds of coop closings as the transfer agent for his client coops. He is a former member of the Great Neck Housing Authority, former Chairman of the Great Neck Board of Zoning and Appeals and is also a licensed real estate broker. He has taught paralegal programs at Long Island University, C.W. Post and Mercy College, and has taught the qualifying course for Real Estate Brokers at Queensborough Community College.

Mr. Birnbaum is also an investor in real estate owning properties in Nassau County. Prior to becoming an elected Village Justice, he regularly received appointments from the Office of Court Administration as a Receiver, Guardian and Guardian Ad Litem and also received assignments from the Courts to handle specific matters on their behalf. Mr. Birnbaum is involved in a number of civic groups and was formerly the Judge of the Village of Great Neck.
